The Local Government Unit of Tapaz has successfully conducted the Releasing of Subsidy for Solo Parents program, providing financial support to 35 solo parents in accordance with RA 11861, held today December 05, 2024, at the Tapaz Training Hall.
The event was facilitated by Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office (MSWDO) headed by Ma’am Josie G. Cambel RS, MSSW together with LTOO III/DO – Designate Nerissa G. Faeldin from Municipal Treasury Office.
Mayor Roberto O. Palomar represented by HRMO V Cristita L. Giner expressed her commitment to supporting solo parents and acknowledged the challenges they face. She emphasized the importance of this subsidy in alleviating their financial burdens and improving their quality of life.
The LGU Tapaz remains dedicated to implementing programs that support the well-being and development of its constituents, particularly vulnerable groups such as solo parents.
