Last July 30, 2025, the Municipality of Tapaz proudly joined the national celebration of the 47th National Disability Rights Week with the theme β€œInnovation for Inclusion: Building Inclusive Communities Together.” The event was held at the Tapaz Civic Center and highlighted the importance of building a community where everyone feels included and valued.
With the full support of our Municipal Mayor, Hon. Rex Dante Palomar, and the Chairperson for Senior Citizen & PWD Affairs, Hon. Milagros Palomar, the celebration became even more meaningful. Their presence and support inspired everyone to continue promoting inclusivity and understanding for persons with disabilities.
We were also honored by the presence of Sir Jubert O. Lago, President of the League of PDAO National, PWD Action Officer Mary Jane Delantar, and 80 PWD attendees who gathered in unity and celebration of ability, strength, and hope.
This celebration reminds us that everyone deserves to be seen, heard, and included. Let’s continue working together to create a kinder, more accessible communityβ€”where no one is left behind.
