March 27, 2025 โ The Local Government Unit of Tapaz officially concluded its Womenโs Month 2025 celebration today with a culminating activity featuring a short program, โJuanaโs Got Talentโ competition, and a recognition ceremony honoring outstanding women, offices, and partners who have significantly contributed to gender and development initiatives.
Mayor Roberto โNonongโ Palomar, represented by EnP Stephen Faeldin, delivered an inspiring message emphasizing the vital role of women in governance and community development.
Also present at the event were Vice Mayor Romel Somo, along with Sangguniang Bayan Members Hon. Karen Palomar and Hon. Regina Fancubila, who expressed their support for gender equality and womenโs empowerment programs in the municipality.
The LGU also extended its congratulations and gratitude to the Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office (MSWDO) led by Josie Cambel, the Gender and Development (GAD) Office under Engr. Neriza Pacenio, and the Human Resource Management Office (HRMO)/MGDH led by Cristita Giner, along with the Tapaz Municipal Government Employees Association (TMGEA) officers for their dedication in organizing and spearheading meaningful activities throughout Womenโs Month.
The culminating activity served as a tribute to the strength, resilience, and leadership of Tapaznon women, reinforcing the LGUโs commitment to promoting gender equality and fostering a more inclusive and empowering society.
