The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), in collaboration with the Local Government Unit (LGU) of Tapaz, awarded a livelihood grant worth β±165,000 to the PWD Aktibo Sustainable Livelihood Association (SLPA) on December 26, 2024.
The cheque was officially handed over by Sangguniang Bayan Member Hon. Loreto Gadong, First Lady Milagros βChayβ Palomar, and the Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office (MSWDO) staff. This financial support aims to provide Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) with sustainable opportunities to enhance their income and improve their quality of life.

The livelihood grant is part of the DSWDβs Sustainable Livelihood Program (SLP), which is designed to uplift communities by supporting associations in starting or expanding their income-generating activities.
