The Department of Science and Technology โ Food and Nutrition Research Institute (DOST-FNRI) Region VI Team paid a courtesy visit to Mayor Rex Dante Palomar in preparation for the conduct of the โ2025 Updating of the Nutritional Status of Filipino Children and Other Population Groups.โThis 2025 Updating Survey is the 7th in a nationwide series that started in 1990 and is conducted every two years in between the National Nutrition Surveys (NNS) to rapidly assess the nutritional condition of Filipinos across all age groups.
The team, composed of licensed Nutritionist-Dietitians and Medical Technologists, includes:

They were joined by the LGU Tapaz Health Team, represented by Nurse II Pamela Ann Abia, who will assist in facilitating the survey within the selected barangays of Tapaz.
Mayor Palomar welcomed and expressed full support for the teamโs activity, affirming the importance of reliable data in formulating effective nutrition and health programs for the community.
