To strengthen access to quality healthcare and ensure that every Tapaznon is well-informed about their rights and benefits under the National Health Insurance Program, the PhilHealth Capiz 1st Semester 2025 Forum was successfully held on September 9, 2025.
Representing Mayor Rex Dante L. Palomar, Atty. Vicente Atlas Catalan, Municipal Administrator, joined local officials and health partners in this important gathering. Present also were Frederick Diaz, LHIO Head โ Capiz, and Verlie Recio, PHIC Accreditation Officer, who led the discussions on PhilHealth programs and services.
Other attendees included Dr. Chad Bryan Hillado, Municipal Health Officer; Hon. Hila Gafate, Liga ng mga Barangay President; Engr. Josie Cambel, MSWDO; Aldrin Falco, CPA, BOST Team Leader; Cristita Giner, HRMO V; and Pamela Ann Abia, Nurse II.
The forum emphasized the strong partnership between PhilHealth and the local government in bringing healthcare closer to the people. Together, they are committed to expanding health coverage, improving services, and ensuring that every Tapaznon has better access to quality and affordable healthcare.
