𝐒𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐀𝐠𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐥 𝐒𝐮𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭: 𝐏𝐂𝐈𝐂 𝐏𝐚𝐲𝐬 𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐭𝐞𝐬𝐲 𝐕𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐌𝐚𝐲𝐨𝐫 𝐑𝐞𝐱 𝐃𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐞 𝐏𝐚𝐥𝐨𝐦𝐚

Last July 2,2025, The Philippine Crop Insurance Corporation (PCIC) made a courtesy visit to Mayor Rex Dante Palomar to talk about their ongoing and upcoming programs for Tapaz farmers.

The team was led by Mr. Melvin Vigo, Supervising Head for Capiz, Aklan, and Antique, together with OIC Municipal Agriculturist Jhel Giner.

They discussed the upcoming release of indemnity claims for insured farmers in the lowland barangays, as well as the expansion of insurance coverage to upland areas—particularly for abaca and coffee farmers.

Mayor Palomar expressed his full support for PCIC’s initiatives, recognizing their role in helping secure the livelihood of local farmers through agricultural insurance
