The Local Government Unit (LGU) of Tapaz proudly secures its place among the 2024 Good Financial Housekeeping (GFH) passers, reaffirming its commitment to fiscal transparency and accountability.

The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) – Province of Capiz has officially recognized the Capiz Provincial Government and its 12 component LGUs, including Tapaz, for successfully passing the 2024 GFH assessment. This achievement underscores the LGUโ€™s adherence to sound financial management and responsible governance.

The Good Financial Housekeeping program evaluates LGUs based on two key criteria:

1. A most recent Commission on Audit (COA) opinion of Qualified or Unqualified, as reflected in the annual audit report posted on the COA website as of September 27, 2024.

2. Compliance with the Full Disclosure Policy (FDP) requirements for the 2nd – 4th quarters of 2023 and the 1st quarter of 2024.

LGU Tapazโ€™s exemplary financial governance ensures that public funds are utilized efficiently and transparently, further strengthening the trust and confidence of its constituents. This recognition is a testament to the hard work and dedication of Tapazโ€™s local leaders and employees in promoting good governance.

Congratulations, Tapaz! May this achievement inspire continuous efforts toward progress and excellence in public service.
