The Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) Capiz Field Office has turned over a cheque worth 1 million pesos to the Local Government Unit (LGU) of Tapaz to support the livelihood programs of two associations: TAVEGA and FAMATI.
The turnover ceremony was facilitated by DOLE Capiz Director II Joselito G. Dela Banda and Mary Chris Medina, the Focal Person. The initiative aims to enhance the economic stability and sustainability of the beneficiary associations, fostering community development and growth.
Mayor Roberto Palomar expressed his gratitude to DOLE for their continuous support and highlighted the importance of such programs in uplifting the lives of the residents of Tapaz.
“The LGU of Tapaz is committed to ensure that these funds are used effectively to benefit the community and drive sustainable development,” Mayor Palomar stated.
