Information must be in the possession, custody, or control of the Municipality of Tapaz and not covered by a lawful exemption.

Exempted Information

  • Privileged information covered by executive privilege

  • Drafts of decisions, orders and memoranda

If your request is denied, you may file an appeal following the municipality's FOI appeal procedure within the prescribed period.

Processing Time

15 WORKING DAYS

Standard response time

Complete FOI requests are acted upon within fifteen (15) working days from receipt. You will be notified of the action taken on your request.

Extension

In meritorious cases, processing may be extended once for up to ten (10) additional working days. You will be informed in writing of any extension and the reason.

Standard processing is fifteen (15) working days from receipt of a complete request. A one-time extension of up to ten (10) working days may apply in complex cases.
