The Municipality of Tapaz in partnership with DICT- Capiz and CAPSU- Pontevedra conducted a Basic Graphic Design Using Canva training with Philippine National Public Key Infrastructure (PNPKI) Orientation and Cyber Hygiene.
The activity was attended by LGU employees and facilitated by the Human Resource Management Office (HRMO) headed by HRMO V Cristita L. Giner.
The program was graced by Municipal Information Officer and PESO Manager EnP. Stephen G. Faeldin, who represented Mayor Rex Dante L. Palomar and conveyed the Mayor's continued support for initiatives that enhance the digital capabilities and cybersecurity awareness of LGU personnel.
Leading the activity was the DICT-Capiz team headed by Provincial Director Engr. Lorwell S. Onglatco, together with Rey Guan Barana, Cybersecurity–PNPKI Focal; Dr. Virginia Figueroa, BSCS Program Chair of Capiz State University–Pontevedra Campus; Dr. Shawn Dacles, BSCS Extension Coordinator; and Chennie Antonette Arcilla, ILCDB Provincial Focal of DICT-Capiz.
The training equipped participants with essential graphic design skills using Canva while deepening their understanding of PNPKI, cybersecurity, and cyber hygiene, empowering LGU employees to create effective information materials and promote safe, secure, and responsible use of digital technologies in government service.
