The Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) Environmental Management Bureau Region VI recognized the Municipality of Tapaz in its commendable commitment to environmental sustainability through the effective compliance and full operationalization of the Solid Waste Management (SWM) equipment and facilities. This plaque and certificate was given last August 19, 2026 at Iloilo City.
This commendable feat symbolizes the unity of tapaznon under the leadership of Mayor Rex Dante Palomar in protecting our environment and in preservation of our equipment and facilities provided by the Environmental Management Bureau Region VI.
