About the Office

The Public Employment Service Office (PESO) is a non-fee charging multi-employment service facility established pursuant to Republic Act No. 10691 (amending RA 8759). It serves as the primary office of the Municipality of Tapaz responsible for facilitating employment opportunities, providing labor market information, implementing livelihood and employment programs, and delivering career development services to jobseekers, employers, students, and other stakeholders.

PESO works closely with the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), government agencies, private employers, educational institutions, and community organizations to promote productive, inclusive, and sustainable employment

Closed on weekends and holidays.

Mandate

The Public Employment Service Office is mandated to:

* Facilitate local and overseas employment opportunities.
* Provide free employment facilitation and labor market services.
* Assist employers in recruiting qualified applicants.
* Implement employment and livelihood programs of the national and local government.
* Conduct career guidance, employment coaching, and labor market information dissemination.
* Promote youth employment and workforce development.
* Strengthen partnerships with government agencies, educational institutions, and the private sector to improve employment outcomes.
