About the Office
The Population Office is the lead office of the Local Government Unit in planning, coordinating, and implementing Population and Development programs.
We promote responsible parenthood, gender equality, and healthy families to achieve sustainable development and improved quality of life for every family.
The Office also focuses on Adolescent Health and Development by providing youth-friendly information, education, and support to help adolescents make responsible choices, prevent teen pregrancy, and become healthy and productive members of the community.
Through data-driven services and the maintenance of the LGU Population Database in the Residents management System, we ensure that programs are responsive to the needs of individuals, families and adolescents.
The office provides technical assistance, information dissemination, and community-based services that address population-related concerns, including family welfare, adolescent health, demographic data management, and socio-economic development. It works closely with national government agencies, barangays, health offices, educational institutions, and other stakeholders to improve the quality of life of the constituents.
