About the Office

The Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office (MSWDO) is a local government office that provides social welfare services to individuals, families, and communities in need. It helps improve people's quality of life through different programs and services, such as financial assistance, family support, child and youth welfare, services for senior citizens and persons with disabilities, and disaster response. The office also works with other government agencies and community organizations to promote the welfare and protection of all residents, especially those who are vulnerable.

Mandate

The Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office (MSWDO) is a local government office that provides social welfare services to individuals, families, and communities in need. Mission

To lead in the implementation of social welfare and development and social protection for the poor, vulnerable and disadvantaged, advocating support in the implementation of national laws and policies, statutory programs and services and strengthening coordination and networks for better access.
