Legislative Branch
The Sangguniang Bayan (Municipal Council) is the legislative body of the Municipality of Tapaz, Capiz. It is composed of the Vice Mayor as Presiding Officer, regular councilors elected at-large, and ex-officio members representing the youth (SK Federation) and barangay captains (ABC).
The council enacts ordinances and resolutions for the general welfare of the municipality, approves the annual budget, and exercises oversight over local governance. Sessions are held regularly to deliberate on matters affecting the community.
