On July 4, 2025, a Special Program for Employment of Students (SPES) Development Session was successfully conducted at the Tapaz Training Hall, aimed at enriching the knowledge and life skills of student beneficiaries.
The activity was graced by Hon. Mayor Rex Dante Palomar, represented by PDO IV Gelli Danielle Gelilang, CPA, who expressed the LGU’s continued support for youth development and employment initiatives.
The session featured insightful discussions from esteemed resource speakers:
πŸ”Ή Dr. Jessa Gardose – Explained the importance of HIV-AIDS awareness and mental health, emphasizing the importance of wellness and early intervention.
πŸ”Ή On the otherhand, Engr. Josie G. Cambel – Inspired the participants with a talk on embracing personal strengths and weaknesses, youth challenges, and self-awareness as keys to growth.
πŸ”Ή GIP Interns – Provided practical guidance on requirements submission and other administrative matters relevant to SPES participants.
The activity was facilitated by EnP Stephen Faeldin, Municipal PESO Manager, who encouraged the youth to maximize the opportunities under SPES and become responsible, purpose-driven individuals.
