Pursuant to Proclamation No. 744 declaring the last Monday of March of every year as Women with Disability Day, Municipality of Tapaz celebrate the 19th Anniversary of Women with Disability this 2023.
The theme: βWE for Gender Equality and Inclusive Societyβ aims to push the needs of Women with Disabilities among other marginalized groups to lead and promote societal reform geared toward their empowerment and full participation in all human endeavors.
The said celebration was led by Mary Jane Delantar-PDAO Designate and was attended by OIC Municipal Administrator Milagros “Chay” Roa Palomar and MSWDO Josie Cambel.
Also present were PMSG Leny Catorce and discussed about Violence Against Women and Children and also Internal Auditor III Maribel Giner, who shared her life and inspirig story.
