The Assessors Office of the Local Government Unit (LGU) of Tapaz, has been recognized and commended by the Bureau of Local Government Finance (BLGF) for achieving a collection efficiency rating of 100%. This surpasses the annual target set by the BLGF for fiscal year 2022 and is based on the effective collection in four locally sourced revenues: Real Property Tax, Business Tax and Other Taxes, Fees and Charges, and Economic Enterprise.
The Certificate of Commendation was presented in acknowledgment of the Assessors Office’s outstanding performance in fiscal management and revenue generation. This achievement reflects the dedicated efforts and commitment of the Assessors Office team, led by Jade Lopez, CPA, in ensuring the efficient and accurate collection of local revenues.
