Today, April 19, 2024, marked a significant event for the Local Government Unit of Tapaz as it conducted the EBOSS evaluation and orientation on the integration of Barangay Clearance to 58 Barangays in the municipality.
The event was attended by OIC Mayor Gelli Danielle B. Gelilang, CPA, who emphasized the importance of streamlining processes to improve service delivery to the community. Also present were Vito Navarra- MLGOO VI, Marnie Silva- LGOO II, and Florita Amores-BPLO Designate, along with representatives from the 58 Barangays.
Dharyl Strawberry Fabe from ARTA VI, Aizel Padilla-LGOO IV, Pearl Angelique Hillado, and Jayson Esco from DICT VI led the orientation and assessment. They discussed the integration of Barangay Clearance into the Electronic Business One-Stop Shop (EBOSS) system, which aims to simplify the process for barangay clearances, making it more efficient and accessible to residents.
The integration of Barangay Clearance into the EBOSS system is part of the LGU’s efforts to streamline processes, improve service delivery, and enhance the overall business environment in Tapaz. This initiative aligns with the government’s goal of promoting ease of doing business and fostering economic growth at the local level.
