The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) conducted an orientation on the 2024 Cities and Municipalities Competitiveness Index (CMCI) and the Local Data Capture Sheet (LDCS) last April 18, 2024, at Island Hotel, Roxas City.
EnP Stephen G. Faeldin, Information Officer, and Nervin Gardose, MIO staff, attended the orientation on behalf of LGU Tapaz.
The CMCI is an annual ranking of Philippine cities and municipalities developed by the DTI, which evaluates competitiveness based on economic dynamism, government efficiency, and infrastructure.
The deadline for the submission of the LDCS is on April 25, 2024. This initiative aims to gather relevant data that will help improve the competitiveness of local government units and promote economic growth and development.
