Today, June 13, 2024, an orientation session was conducted for 181 beneficiaries of the DOLE-TUPAD Program from three barangays: Santa Ana, Taslan, and San Antonio. This important event marks the beginning of their engagement in the community-based employment program.
The orientation began with a warm welcome and an inspiring message from Maam Milagros βChayβ Roa Palomar, who spoke on behalf of Mayor Roberto Palomar. She emphasized the significance of the TUPAD Program in providing immediate employment opportunities and supporting the livelihoods of the beneficiaries.
Representatives from the DOLE Capiz field office, John Cris Requillas and John Manuel Alisla, provided a comprehensive orientation, explaining the details of the TUPAD Program and what the beneficiaries can expect during their period of employment.
Engr. Neriza Pacenio and Jorge Abordo from the Municipal Environment and Natural Resources Office (MENRO) were also present to guide the beneficiaries on their specific scope of work, ensuring that they are well-prepared for their tasks.
The orientation was expertly facilitated by the Municipal Public Employment Service Office (MPESO), led by PESO Manager and Information Officer designate EnP Stephen Faeldin. His team ensured that the session was informative and that all beneficiaries had a clear understanding of their roles and responsibilities.
This orientation is a critical step in empowering the beneficiaries, providing them with the necessary knowledge and resources to successfully contribute to their communities through the TUPAD Program.
