𝐎𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐋𝐚𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐨𝐟 𝐒𝐨𝐥𝐨 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐒𝐮𝐛𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐲

The Local Government Unit of Tapaz has successfully launched the Solo Parent Subsidy program, providing financial support to 32 solo parents in accordance with RA 11861 last June 21, 2024.

The event was attended by Maam Milagros “Chay” Palomar, who delivered an inspirational message. The orientation and facilitation were overseen by the Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office (MSWDO), led by Josie G. Cambel.

During the orientation, guidelines for the solo parent subsidy were presented to ensure that all recipients are well-informed about the benefits and responsibilities associated with the program.

Mayor Roberto O. Palomar expressed her commitment to supporting solo parents and acknowledged the challenges they face. She emphasized the importance of this subsidy in alleviating their financial burdens and improving their quality of life.

The LGU Tapaz remains dedicated to implementing programs that support the well-being and development of its constituents, particularly vulnerable groups such as solo parents.
