The LGU Tapaz celebrated the 50th Nutrition Month last July 31, 2024 with the theme โSA PPAN: SAMA-SAMA SA NUTRISYONG SAPAT PARA SA LAHAT!โ The event was held at the Tapaz Civic Center and facilitated by the Municipal Health Office (MHO) Tapaz.
The celebration was graced by the presence of OIC Mayor Hon. Loreto Gadong, Vice Mayor Romel Somo, Ma’am Chay Roa Palomar, SB Member Hon. Bon Gardose, MSWDO Josie Cambel, Dr. Ermity Guy Gadong, and EnP Stephen Faeldin.
The resource person for the event was Mr. Jose Marie C. Barcelo, RN, Municipal Nutrition Action Officer of Bugasong, Antique, who provided valuable insights on nutrition and health.
The activities included a Fruits and Vegetables Arrangement Contest, a Search for Nutri-Buntis 2024, and a Cheers and Yells Competition.
Congratulations to all the winners and to Pamela Ann Abia, Municipal Nutrition Coordinator, for the successful organization of the event.
