Barangay Officials and Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) Chairpersons received socio-civic project fund/ assistance amounting to P3,000. The distribution event was attended by Mayor Roberto โNonongโ Palomar, Maam Milagros โChayโ Palomar, and Municipal Treasurer Rosie Corros.
The activity, held at Tapaz Civic Center, was facilitated by the Treasurerโs Office and the Barangay Operation Supervisory Team (BOST). The fund distribution aims to empower barangay officials and SK chairpersons by providing financial support that will benefit their respective communities.
Mayor Palomar emphasized the importance of these funds in fostering community development and encouraging local leaders to undertake projects that address the specific needs of their constituents. “These assistance are intended to support initiatives that will improve the quality of life in your barangays. We trust that our barangay officials and SK chairpersons will utilize these assistance effectively to create positive changes in their communities,” said Mayor Palomar.
The socio-civic project fund distribution is part of the governmentโs ongoing efforts to promote community engagement and development.
