Tapaz, Capiz, August 6, 2024- The Association of Local Social Welfare & Development Officers of the Philippines (ALSWDOPI), Inc., Capiz Chapter, held its recent meeting in Tapaz, bringing together 16 members to discuss key issues and develop action plans.
The meeting commenced with a courtesy call to Mayor Roberto โNonongโ Palomar and Maam Milagros โChayโ Palomar, demonstrating the collaborative efforts between local government officials and social welfare officers.
The agenda for the meeting included:
– Kamustahan:An opportunity for members to catch up and share updates.
– Short Recall:A review of past activities and achievements.
– Identification of Concerns: Highlighting and acknowledging current challenges faced by the members.
– Discussion of Urgent Concerns: Prioritizing and addressing immediate issues.
– Action Plan: Formulating strategic plans to tackle the identified concerns effectively.
The meeting was facilitated by ALSWDOPI Capiz Chapter President and Municipal Social Welfare and Development Officer (MSWDO) Josie Cambel. Her leadership and guidance ensured a productive and focused discussion, aiming to enhance the social welfare initiatives within the region.
