The Tapaz Municipal Police Station (MPS) has proudly received a new patrol car, significantly boosting its capacity to maintain peace and order within the municipality. The vehicle, provided by the Philippine National Police (PNP) Headquarters at Camp Crame, Quezon City, was officially turned over by the Police Regional Office 6 (PRO-6) in a ceremony held at Delgado, Iloilo City. The turnover was led by Regional Director PBGEN Jack Wanky.
This crucial addition to Tapaz MPSβs fleet was made possible through the steadfast leadership of Mayor Roberto “Nonong” Palomar, who has been a strong advocate for enhancing local law enforcement capabilities. The new patrol car will enable the Tapaz police force to improve their response time, increase mobility, and ensure better visibility across the municipality.
Mayor Palomar expressed his gratitude to the PNP and PRO-6 for their continued support in strengthening the safety and security of Tapaz. He emphasized that the acquisition of this new patrol car is a testament to the collaborative efforts between local government and law enforcement agencies in safeguarding the community.
With this new patrol car, Tapaz MPS is better equipped to serve and protect the residents, reinforcing its commitment to upholding peace and order in the municipality.
