An orientation on Solid Waste Management and Recycling Awareness was recently conducted in the barangays of Poblacion and San Jose, aimed at educating teachers, learners, and community members on the importance of proper waste disposal and recycling practices.
The event featured resource speakers from the Capiz Provincial Environment and Natural Resources Office (CaPENRO) and was facilitated by the Municipal Environment and Natural Resources Office (MENRO) of Tapaz.
Participants, including educators, students, and local residents, were provided with valuable insights on how to manage solid waste effectively, the benefits of recycling, and how these practices contribute to a cleaner and more sustainable environment.
The LGU Tapaz continues to advocate for environmental stewardship, recognizing the crucial role of education in promoting long-term behavioral change in waste management.
