The Tapaz Municipal Police successfully organized and facilitated an Advocacy Awareness Program on September 18, 2024, aimed at strengthening local community defense and emergency response capabilities.
The event was graced by Hon. Roberto O. Palomar, who emphasized the importance of community cooperation in ensuring safety and security. Major Sydney C. Pedrajas, along with Rocer A. Garde, the Chief Investigator, and **PEMS Cherryl Gayagaya, led the discussions and activities throughout the day.
The program featured two important topics:
1. Lecture on Integrated Territorial Defenseβ A comprehensive discussion on community involvement in local defense strategies to help maintain peace and order in the municipality.
2. Lecture on First Aid Responseβ Training for local responders on how to handle emergency situations effectively, ensuring that they are well-prepared to assist in times of need.
The event was attended by 58 participants, including the Chief Tanods from various barangays and local officials, who were engaged in the informative lectures and hands-on demonstrations.
This initiative continues the Tapaz Municipal Police’s commitment to enhancing community awareness and preparedness, ensuring the safety and security of its citizens.
