The Federasyon sang mga Asosasyon sang Mangungumang Tapaznon Inc. (FAMATI) held its monthly meeting, which featured key activities, including the election of a new set of officers and the awarding of Agri-Trade Fair winners. The meeting was attended by local government officials, association members, and other stakeholders, making it a significant event for the agricultural community of Tapaz.
Mayor Roberto Palomar graced the event, emphasizing the importance of strong leadership within FAMATI to further support the town’s agricultural sector. He expressed his optimism about the associationβs future under its new officers, who are expected to carry forward programs aimed at increasing the productivity and welfare of the farmers and fisherfolk.
The awarding ceremony was made extra special by the presence of Maβam Milagros βChayβ Roa Palomar, who assisted in recognizing the outstanding participants of the recent Agri-Trade Fair. The fair highlighted the innovative and sustainable practices of local farmers, showcasing the rich agricultural products of Tapaz.
The event concluded with a message of appreciation to the Municipal Agriculture Office (MAO), led by Jhel Giner, for their dedication in organizing the event. Congratulations were extended to all the hardworking farmers who participated and excelled in the Agri-Trade Fair.
