Last November 5, 2024, the National Project Management Office (NPMO) together with Region 8 and Region 6 personnel conducted a comprehensive Technical Assessment of AF Phase 1 sub-projects in Barangays Roxas and Taslan. The activity, held on November 5, brought together barangay officials, community volunteers, and representatives from the Area and Municipal Coordination Teams.
The assessment involved a series of on-site inspections, volunteer interviews, and focus group discussions. These activities provided valuable insights into the impact and progress of the projects, highlighting community involvement as a critical component of the Kalahi-CIDSS initiative.
The Area and Municipal Coordination Teams (ACT-MCT), led by EnP Stephen Faeldin, Municipal Engineer, Engr. Victorio Jimenez, and AC Queenie Magdaluyo, facilitated the visit and offered assistance to the technical assessors and guests. The visit also included a courtesy call and feedback session with Mayor Roberto Palomar, who expressed appreciation for the program and emphasized its vital role in local development. He reiterated LGU Tapazโs commitment to sustaining the Kalahi-CIDSS initiative and maximizing its benefits for the community.
This collaborative assessment underscores the importance of teamwork and continuous support in achieving sustainable development through Kalahi-CIDSS, fostering empowerment and resilience in Tapazโs communities.
