Look! Captured today November 06, 2024, is the Releasing of Indemnity claims for 143 Tapaznon Farmers held at Tapaz, Civic Center.
The Philippine Crop Insurance Corporation has released cheques as indemnity claims for Farmers to help rebuild the lives and livelihoods of insured farmers impacted by damages caused by pest and diseases in their rice, corn and livestock.
To support the agricultural sector, Municipal Agricultural Office led by Jhel Giner spearheaded the releasing of indemnity claims to Tapaznon farmers, to dedicated effort of our PCIC Underwriter John John L. Bermino and James V. Vega for giving cheques to our Farmers, also to our active Vice Mayor Hon. Romel G. Somo thank you for the unwavering support.
To our Municipal Mayor Roberto Palomar represented by SLEO/PESO Manager EnP. Stephen G. Faeldin emphasized the importance of this support in sustaining the agricultural livelihood of Tapaz. “Our farmers are the backbone of our community. Ensuring they have the resources they need to recover and thrive is essential for our local economy and food security,” he said.
This initiative aims to provide financial relief and support to local farmers who have faced various challenges, including natural calamities and other unforeseen events that have impacted their productivity. The indemnity claims were facilitated by the Philippine Crop Insurance Corporation (PCIC), ensuring that farmers receive timely assistance.
The distribution of these indemnity claims is a testament to the continuous efforts of the local government to uplift the agricultural sector and provide the necessary support to its farmers.
