The Municipality of Tapaz in the Province of Capiz has been awarded the prestigious Seal of Child-Friendly Local Governance for successfully passing the 2022 Child-Friendly Local Governance Audit (CFLGA). This award, given today, November 11, 2024, recognizes Tapazโ commitment to fostering a safe, nurturing, and child-friendly environment through effective local governance and community-centered programs.
In behalf of Mayor Roberto โNonongโ Palomar, Municipal Social Welfare and Development Officer (MSWDO) Josie Cambel accepted the award. The achievement emphasize the collaborative efforts of local leaders, government agencies, and the Tapaz community in prioritizing the welfare and development of children.
