𝐁𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐍𝐞𝐰 𝐆𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝: 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐁𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐓𝐚𝐩𝐚𝐳 𝐌𝐏𝐒

Tapaz officials and police authorities gathered today, March 11, 2025, for the Groundbreaking Ceremony of the Tapaz Municipal Police Station (MPS) Standard Type “A” Building, marking a major step in strengthening law enforcement infrastructure.

Hon. Roberto O. Palomar, Municipal Mayor, Capiz, and PBGEN Jack L. Wanky, Regional Director of PRO6, represented by PCOL Albert Tapulao, PD of Capiz, led the event alongside key officials.

PCPT Jobert T. De Los Reyes, OIC of Tapaz MPS, welcomed attendees, followed by PLTCOL Lyndon A. Maestre, OIC of REUG, who detailed the project’s significance in boosting police operations. PCPT Mark Renzi S. Ogalesco, Regional Pastoral Officer 6, led the blessing of the ground, followed by the ceremonial groundbreaking and time capsule dropping.

During the Talk to Men segment, Mayor Palomar and PCOL Tapulao highlighted the importance of modern police facilities in ensuring public safety. PCPT De Los Reyes then presented a memento to commemorate the occasion.

This project, a joint effort between LGU Tapaz and PRO6, reinforces the commitment to equipping law enforcement with the resources needed to protect and serve the community.
