𝐅𝐨𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐀𝐜𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐑𝐨𝐚𝐝𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐃𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞 𝐂𝐫𝐨𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐨𝐟 𝐏𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐲 𝐑𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐁𝐚𝐬𝐢𝐧 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐃𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐩𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭 (𝐏𝐑𝐁𝐈𝐃𝐏)|The National Irrigation Administration (NIA) Region VI and the Local Government of Tapaz, Capiz, officially inked the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) for the Panay River Basin Integrated Development Project (PRBIDP).

The signing ceremony took place last July 4, 2023, at the conference hall, Tapaz Government Center, symbolizing the collaboration between both entities to enhance the region’s infrastructure and agricultural development.

Maayor 𝐑𝐨𝐛𝐞𝐫𝐭𝐨 “𝐍𝐨𝐧𝐨𝐧𝐠” 𝐏𝐚𝐥𝐨𝐦𝐚𝐫, NIA VI Regional Manager Engr. Rory F. Avance, NIA VI Division Manager for Engineering and Operations Engr. Robertino O. Lapeña, and Municipal Engineer Victorio J. Jimenez together with the presence of LGU Department heads signed the MOA for the Restoration and Construction of Access Roads and Drainage Crossing of PRBIDP, with a stipulated project duration of 180 calendar days.

This achievement demonstrates a successful collaboration between the NIA and LGU Tapaz, showing unity and cooperation toward the attainment of infrastructure and agricultural development in the province.
