Under the compassionate initiative of Ma’am Milagros “Chay” Palomar and the steadfast leadership of Mayor Roberto “Nonong” Palomar, Project Smile 2023 Batch 2 has been launched to provide essential support to bedridden senior citizens in the municipality.
The project, organized in collaboration with MSWDO (Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office), MHO (Municipal Health Office), and OSCA (Office of Senior Citizens Affairs), focuses on delivering cash assistance, monitoring the health status of recipients, and distributing groceries directly to the homes of bedridden seniors.
Maam Chay and Mayor Nonong, represented by EnP Stephen Faeldin, RN, Information Officer-Designate, along with Pamela Ann Abi-Nurse II and OSCA personnel Jessiery Gimoto and Melanie Cepeda, ensure that this initiative brings smiles and comfort to those who need it the most.
This project exemplifies the commitment of LGU Tapaz to prioritize the well-being of its senior citizens, fostering a community that cares for every member. The residents and beneficiaries express their gratitude for the kindness and support extended through Project Smile 2023 Batch 2.
