𝗖𝗢𝗡𝗚𝗥𝗔𝗧𝗨𝗟𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡𝗦 𝗦𝗔 𝗜𝗡𝗬𝗢𝗡𝗚 𝗗𝗔 𝗙𝗔𝗥𝗠𝗘𝗥’𝗦 𝗜𝗡𝗧𝗘𝗥𝗩𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡𝗦 𝗠𝗢𝗡𝗜𝗧𝗢𝗥𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗖𝗔𝗥𝗗 (𝗜𝗠𝗖)

Last March 4, 2024, marked a significant milestone for 945 Tapaznon farmers who received their Farmer’s Interventions Monitoring Cards (IMC) from the Department of Agriculture (DA). This initial distribution is part of the 1st batch of 6,530 Farmers Beneficiaries slated to receive support through this program.

Mayor Roberto “Nonong” Palomar and Maam Milagros “Chay” Palomar underscored the importance of this initiative in uplifting the livelihoods of local farmers and promoting agricultural sustainability in Tapaz. He emphasized the critical role that farmers play in ensuring food security and economic resilience within the community. Furthermore, Mayor Palomar expressed his gratitude to the Department of Agriculture for their unwavering support and commitment to the welfare of Tapaznon farmers.

The Farmer’s Interventions Monitoring Card, coupled with financial assistance, represents a tangible investment in the agricultural sector, empowering farmers with resources to enhance productivity, adopt modern farming techniques, and overcome challenges. Mayor Palomar reiterated the LGU’s dedication to supporting farmers and fostering a thriving agricultural sector that serves as the backbone of Tapaz’s economy.
