The Municipal Convergence Committee (MCC) convened to discuss and update core programs managed by the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), including the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps), Kapit-Bisig Laban sa Kahirapan Comprehensive and Integrated Delivery of Social Services (KALAHI-CIDSS), Social Pension Program (SOCPEN), and Sustainable Livelihood Program (SLP). The meeting highlighted the accomplishments of each program in the 1st Quarter of the year, showcasing the impact and progress made in Tapaz.

Chaired by OIC Mayor Jovy Gialen, the MCC meeting aimed to assess the effectiveness of these programs in addressing the needs of the community and to identify areas for improvement. The committee members, representing various government agencies and local organizations, discussed strategies to enhance the implementation of these programs and ensure that they continue to benefit the residents of Tapaz.

In addition to program updates, the MCC also addressed other matters, including the formulation of an Executive Order (EO) for approval. This EO is expected to streamline processes and enhance coordination among agencies involved in delivering social services to the community.

The MCC reaffirmed its commitment to improving the well-being of Tapaz residents through the effective implementation of social welfare programs and initiatives.
