The Local Government Unit (LGU) of Tapaz, through the Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office (MSWDO), recently facilitated the distribution of cultural and sports equipment to nine Teen Centers across different high schools in Tapaz.
The equipment, which includes musical instruments, sports gear, and other cultural items, was received by the Teen Center Coordinators during a distribution event held at the respective high schools. This initiative aims to support and enhance the cultural and sports activities of the youth in Tapaz.
The distribution event was attended by Mayor Roberto “Nonong” Palomar and Ma’am Milagros “Chay” Palomar. Both officials emphasized the importance of providing these tools to the Teen Centers, highlighting the role they play in promoting cultural awareness, sportsmanship, and positive youth development in the community.
Mayor Palomar expressed his gratitude to the LGU Tapaz for their support in providing these resources to the Teen Centers, recognizing the impact they will have on the youth’s holistic development. Ma’am Chay Palomar echoed these sentiments, emphasizing the value of such equipment in empowering the youth and fostering a sense of pride in their cultural heritage.
The LGU Tapaz remains committed to support the youth in their pursuit of cultural and sports activities, recognizing them as essential components of a well-rounded education and personal development.
