The Outreach Program of the Serbisyo Caravan 2024 successfully served a total of 370 residents from Barangay Acuรฑa, Buri, and Tacayan, all of Tapaz. The event, held on May 10, 2024, featured a range of critical services aimed at improving the well-being of the community.
The services provided during the Serbisyo Caravan included Free Dental Care, Circumcision for eligible individuals, Eye Examinations with the provision of Free Reading Eyeglasses, Medical Consultations, and Free Medicines. Additionally, the event facilitated the processing of National ID and Birth Certificate Registration. Seeds Distribution, Anti-rabies vaccine, 4Ps, SLP, Solo Parent, Senior Citizen, Economic Enterprise Info Drive, and Haircut services were also made available to the residents.
The initiative was spearheaded by Tapaz MTF-ELCAC Chairperson Mayor Roberto O. Palomar, in collaboration with Lieutenant Colonel Vicel Jan C Garsuta, Commanding Officer of 121B. EnP Stephen Faeldin, Information Officer, delivered a message on behalf of Mayor Palomar, highlighting the importance of such programs in bringing government services closer to the people. Josie G Cambel, MSWDO, presented the various services offered by LGU Tapaz, emphasizing the commitment of the local government to the welfare of its constituents.
The Serbisyo Caravan 2024 exemplifies the dedication of the Tapaz LGU and its partners to improving the lives of the people of Tapaz. Such programs not only provide essential services but also foster a sense of community and solidarity among residents.
