To enhance disaster preparedness and response capabilities, the Philippine National Police (PNP) and the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) in Tapaz conducted a comprehensive simulation exercise (SIMEX), last May 15, 2024, with the valuable assistance of the Tapaz Security Force.
The SIMEX aimed to evaluate and improve the operational readiness of local emergency response teams in handling various disaster scenarios. Through realistic and challenging drills, participants were able to test their skills, coordination, and communication strategies in a controlled environment.
“This exercise is crucial in ensuring that our first responders are well-prepared to effectively manage real-life emergencies,” said Mayor Palomar. “By working closely with the BFP and the Tapaz Security Force, we can strengthen our collective response capabilities and ensure the safety and security of our community.”
The Tapaz Security Force played a significant role in supporting the exercise, providing logistical assistance and additional manpower to ensure the smooth execution of the drills.
The successful completion of the SIMEX highlights the commitment of Tapaz emergency services to maintain a high level of preparedness and their dedication to protecting the lives and property of Tapaz residents.
