𝗕𝗔𝗦𝗜𝗖 𝗗𝗜𝗦𝗔𝗦𝗧𝗘𝗥 𝗥𝗜𝗦𝗞 𝗥𝗘𝗗𝗨𝗖𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡 𝗔𝗡𝗗 𝗠𝗔𝗡𝗔𝗚𝗘𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗧 (𝗗𝗥𝗥𝗠) 𝗧𝗥𝗔𝗜𝗡𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗪𝗜𝗧𝗛 𝗘𝗠𝗘𝗥𝗚𝗘𝗡𝗖𝗬 𝗙𝗜𝗥𝗦𝗧 𝗔𝗜𝗗 𝗖𝗢𝗡𝗗𝗨𝗖𝗧𝗘𝗗 𝗙𝗢𝗥 𝗙𝗢𝗨𝗥 𝗕𝗔𝗥𝗔𝗡𝗚𝗔𝗬𝗦

On June 18-19, 2024, a Basic Disaster Risk Reduction and Management (DRRM) Training with Emergency First Aid was conducted for four barangays—Poblacion, Daan Banwa, San Francisco, and San Jose—at the Tapaz Civic Center.

The training was facilitated by the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO) headed by LDRMMO III Brigette B. Abordo. The session aimed to equip participants with essential skills and knowledge in disaster preparedness and emergency response.

The Philippine Red Cross Capiz Chapter, led by Kenny Bajande, Chapter Representative for Disaster Management, conducted the training. Participants were trained on various aspects of disaster risk reduction, emergency first aid, and effective response strategies to enhance community resilience against potential disasters.

This initiative highlight the commitment of the LGU Tapaz and its partners to building safer and more resilient communities through continuous education and preparedness.
