The Local Government Unit of Tapaz proudly congratulates the recipients of the DOLE Kabuhayan Awards for their outstanding contributions to community development and sustainable livelihoods.
The Community Bakery Project in Barangay Katipunan, led by President Reynaldo Palmes, Punong Barangay Hon. Jeanylyn Bilbao and supported by the LGU, was honored with a cash prize of Php 50,000.00 and a Plaque of Recognition. Backed by the MAKAMASA Katipunan Association, this initiative stands as a testament to the power of community-driven efforts in creating sustainable livelihoods and uplifting lives.
In addition, Mr. Ariel Gamboa was awarded 2nd Runner-Up for his Kabuhayan Starter Kit โ Welding and Vulcanizing Shop Project. Proposed by LGU Barangay Cristina, Mr. Gamboa received Php 10,000.00 and a Plaque of Recognition. His dedication to this project serves as an inspiration to many, showcasing how hard work and innovation can lead to success.
The Kabuhayan Awards celebrate individuals and organizations that significantly impact their communities through sustainable livelihood projects. We are incredibly proud of these achievements and the positive change they bring to our community.
