𝗛𝗘𝗔𝗩𝗬 𝗗𝗨𝗧𝗬 𝗕𝗜𝗢𝗪𝗔𝗦𝗧𝗘 𝗦𝗛𝗥𝗘𝗗𝗗𝗘𝗥 𝗥𝗘𝗖𝗘𝗜𝗩𝗘𝗗 𝗕𝗬 𝗟𝗚𝗨 𝗧𝗔𝗣𝗔𝗭

The Local Government Unit (LGU) of Tapaz has proudly acquired a heavy-duty biowaste shredder, further strengthening its commitment to environmental sustainability. The equipment was officially received by the Municipal Environment and Natural Resources Office (MENRO), led by Engr. Neriza Pacenio.

The heavy-duty biowaste shredder will ensure the efficient processing of organic waste within the municipality, transforming it into compost that can be used to enrich local agriculture. This initiative is expected to significantly reduce the volume of waste sent to landfills, supporting the LGU’s ongoing efforts to promote eco-friendly practices.

Mayor Roberto Palomar emphasized the importance of this new equipment, stating, “The acquisition of the biowaste shredder is a critical step in our mission to enhance waste management in Tapaz. This will not only help us manage waste more effectively but also contribute to the overall environmental health of our community.”
