On September 10, 2024, the Capiz Provincial Office held an update presentation on the Revitalized Pulis sa Barangay (RPSB) program, summarizing the results of the first three months of deployment. The program, aimed at strengthening peace and order in barangays, has made a significant impact on local communities.
The event was hosted by Pmaj Jhon Almarino Bonior, Chief of Police of Tapaz, who welcomed the guests and facilitated the discussions. Team leaders from Barangay Garcia, Barangay Libertad, and Barangay Wright presented a comprehensive summary of their operations, highlighting the progress made in addressing crime, enhancing public safety, and fostering stronger community relations.
Mayor Roberto Palomar delivered an inspiring address, expressing his gratitude for the unwavering commitment of the police force to maintaining peace in the barangays. He emphasized the vital role that the RPSB program plays in promoting safety and security in Tapaz, and encouraged continued cooperation between the police, local officials, and the community.
PLTCOL Danny Lamera, Deputy Provincial Director for Operations (DPDO), provided additional guidance and direction for the program’s future. He commended the RPSB team for their dedication and urged them to continue their proactive efforts in ensuring the safety of the residents.
