September 18,2024| Through the efforts of the Revitalized Police sa Barangay (RPSB) assigned in Barangay Libertad, various needs, issues, and problems faced by the community have been effectively addressed with the assistance of several National Government Agencies.
One major concern was the lack of a potable water supply, which has now been resolved through the support of the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE).
Today, September 18, 2024, the groundbreaking ceremony for the Water Refilling Project took place with the participation of various officials. EnP Stephen Faeldin, representing Mayor Roberto Palomar, joined the event alongside Police Lt. Col. Jose Badilla, personnel from the Capiz Provincial Police Office (PPO), DOLE officials led by Director II Joselito Dela Banda, SB Member Marlon Perez, Tapaz Municipal Police Station represented by Plt Nerio Gicole, Architect Janine Jamilarin, Engr. Jay Galagate and RPSB-Libertad headed by Pcpt Danilo Lauron.
The Farmers Association of Barangay Libertad will be the primary beneficiary and proponent of this vital water project, ensuring a sustainable and reliable source of clean water for the community.
Congratulations to Barangay Libertad, led by Hon. Gaspar Hupanda, for this milestone achievement. This project marks another step forward in improving the quality of life for its residents and addressing critical community needs.
