๐๐๐ข๐๐ค๐๐ฃ๐๐ ๐พ๐๐ฉ๐ฎ, ๐๐๐ฉ๐ค๐๐๐ง 16-18, 2024โ The Local Government Unit (LGU) of Tapaz, headed by ๐ ๐ฎ๐๐ผ๐ฟ ๐ฅ๐ผ๐ฏ๐ฒ๐ฟ๐๐ผ โ๐ก๐ผ๐ป๐ผ๐ป๐ดโ ๐ฃ๐ฎ๐น๐ผ๐บ๐ฎ๐ฟ and Public Employment Service Office (PESO) Manager EnP Stephen Faeldin, attended the prestigious National PESO Congress, a 3-day event aimed at empowering employment service officers and promoting job creation and workforce development across the country.
During the congress, LGU Tapaz received a generous incentive of Php 3,000,000 from Regional Director Atty. Sixto T. Rodriguez Jr. ,and Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) Secretary Bienvenido E. Laguesma. The incentive recognizes the LGUโs commitment to promote employment and economic growth, as well as their active participation in PESO-related initiatives.
The National PESO Congress gathered PESO managers, local government officials, and key stakeholders from various regions to discuss strategies in improving job facilitation, enhancing local employment opportunities, and strengthening the overall labor market. The event featured lectures, and best practice sharing sessions designed to improve the capabilities of PESO offices nationwide.
