Today, November 12,2024, marked a significant step forward for the residents of Sitio Makatol in Barangay Garcia, Tapaz, as a groundbreaking ceremony was held for a new multi-purpose court. The project, a collaborative effort between Barangay Garcia and the Revitalize Police sa Barangay (RPSB) of the Philippine National Police, aims to provide a versatile space for community gatherings, recreational activities, and various events.

Mayor Roberto Palomar attended the ceremony, where he emphasized the importance of accessible public spaces in fostering community engagement and promoting wellness. He praised the initiative as a valuable addition to Barangay Garcia that will benefit residents for years to come.

The event was facilitated by PLT Jonathan M. Alano, Team Leader of RPSB Garcia, alongside Barangay Garcia officials, who expressed their enthusiasm for the project’s positive impact on the community.

The multi-purpose court symbolizes the ongoing commitment to infrastructure and public service in Tapaz, ensuring residents have a dedicated space for communal activities and sports.
