𝗕𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗮𝘆 𝗧𝗮𝗯𝗼𝗻 𝗙𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗚𝗲𝘁𝘀 𝗘𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗶𝘁𝘆: 𝟭𝟱𝟬 𝗛𝗼𝘂𝘀𝗲𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗱𝘀 𝗘𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗴𝗶𝘇𝗲𝗱

The LGU Tapaz thru the leadership of Mayor Roberto “Nonong” Paomar in partnership with CAPELCO, proudly energized Barangay Tabon on December 11, 2024, through the Barangay Line Enhancement Program (BLEP) of the National Electrification Administration.

This milestone provided electricity to 150 beneficiary households in the far-flung barangay, marking a significant step towards achieving rural electrification. CAPELCO extended power lines, installed house wiring, and completed household connections to deliver reliable electricity access to the community.

The energization ceremony featured heartfelt testimonials from residents, who expressed gratitude and shared the impact of the program:

• “Finally, we can enjoy cold water and watch TV.”

• “Our Christmas will be brighter with lights.”

• “Thank you for making this dream a reality.”

Barangay Tabon was very thankful and grateful to Mayor Roberto “Nonong” Palomar for this milestone and blessing to their community.

CAPELCO Board of Directors, led by Dir. Engr. Salvador A. Asis, and Management, headed by Engr. Edgar D. Diaz, expressed their commitment to bringing electricity to underserved areas. Mayor Roberto “Nonong” Palomar extended his support, emphasizing the importance of collaboration between CAPELCO and the LGU in improving the lives of Tapaznons.

Barangay Tabon residents celebrated this achievement, as the gift of light heralds a brighter and more prosperous future for their community.
