The Tapaz Information Office proudly achieved the prestigious title of Best Performing Municipal Information Office in Region 6 during the awarding ceremony held on December 12, 2024 in Iloilo City. This honor solidifies Tapaz’s commitment to excellence in public information and communication efforts.

The award recognizes outstanding public information offices across Western Visayas, showcasing their dedication to transparency, public service, and community engagement. Alongside Tapaz, the following offices were also celebrated for their exemplary performance:

• Public Information and Community Affairs Office (PICAO) – Province of Iloilo

• Public Information Office – City of Iloilo

• City Information Office – City of Victorias, Negros Occidental

• Social Marketing Section – Department of Social Welfare and Development-Region 6

• Public Information and Relations Section – Province of Guimaras
